"King Tide" Mike Finn

Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 209lbs
Hometown: Boston, Massachusetts
Finisher: Katajhaime
GWF Titles Held:
Mike Finn had the misfortune of being given the worst gimmick since Isaac Yankem
D.D.S. WCW and Eric Bischoff made him King Tide, the warrior from the seas who
came to fight the forces of evil. Needless to say, it bombed, and Finn left WCW
quickly. He kept the name King Tide though, but made it a nickname. He altered the
gimmick slightly, and became the dark character fascinated by the sea. Suddenly,
he caught people's attention. Within a few months, he was in the GWF on a long
term contract, and he couldn't be in a better place.
Finn focuses on two things in the ring: his opponents knees, and a chance to lock
on the Katajhaime, the deadly choke sleeper. When he isn't winning matches that
way, he will use the figure-four leglock, a rolling ankle hold, the STF or the
Ziplock.
He also teams up with Blake Ellis, and they are an interesting combination. They
have a unique finisher, almost a Spiked Inverted DDT, where Ellis catches his
opponent in a side suplex and then Finn drives them to the mat with the inverted
DDT.
