Hannon and Wilson met when they were 16 and just starting out. In an over-crowded
industry, they struggled alongside their friends Christian York and Joey Matthews
in the independents. Then, when York and Matthews were signed by ECW, Hannon and
Wilson took a contract offer with XPW, one of the most brutal feds in America.
They didn't like the style of XPW, but they had no other options. That is until
the GWF formed. Hannon and Wilson jumped at the chance. Now, as Future Shock,
they hope to make it to the top of the GWF.
Hannon is the more conservative of the two men, though that's not saying much.
His uses the Paradox (a move Matt Hardy calls the Twist Of Fate) to finish
opponents mainly, but also uses a top rope DDT, a missile dropkick, a leaping
Tornado DDT and a top rope huracanrana to win matches.
Ryan Wilson is the most daring cruiserweight in North America today. He makes
Jeff Hardy look timid by comparison. He throws his body around with reckless
abandon, and the results are spectacular. He uses the Reverse Paradox, an
inverted version of his partner's finisher to win matches. He also uses a
450 Splash, a guillotine legdrop, a reverse russian legsweep and a Tornado
DDT.
As a team, they have adopted the Future Shock as a finisher. You may remember
this move as the Falling Fate used by the Hardy Boyz. Wilson nails a fallen
opponent with a top rope splash at the same time as Hannon nails the same
opponent with a guillotine legdrop.
