"The Nightstalker" Matt HawkesHeight: 6' 1" Weight: 248lbs Hometown: Austin, Texas Finisher: Mantrap (Inverted Swinging Neckbreaker) GWF Titles Held: Matt Hawkes has been touted as "the WWF's best kept secret" for the past year. His performances in UPW in California seemed sure to get him into the WWF. He sat back and watched The Big Show recalled from OVW, then saw Justin Credible, Rhino, Jerry Lynn and Tajiri arrive from ECW. Then, even Mark Henry got recalled. Hawkes wasn't best pleased to say the least. He had put on amazing matches with Reckless Youth and Mike Rapada, and his contract was ending. So, he got on the phone to Dan Roberts, and within a few days, he had signed with the GWF, much to the chagrin of Vince McMahon. Now, "The Nightstalker" is poised to become a big name in the industry, and if he does, he will have only himself and Dan Roberts to thank. Hawkes earned the name "The Nightstalker" with his in-ring style. He studies his opponents diligently, finding all their flaws and exploiting them. He uses the Mantrap as a finisher (a.k.a Chris Daniels' Last Rites or Reno's Roll The Dice), but also works over his opponents knees and back in preparation for a Texas Cloverleaf which he has mastered. He also likes to use a chinlock deathlock submission, a power bomb and a double underhook power bomb to win matches.
