JR: And now, lets go to Dan Roberts office where Mr. Roberts has an 
    announcement.

[Cameras cut to Dan Roberts sitting behind a desk in his office]

DR: I'm sorry that I could not be there in person tonight to see the main 
    event of Battleground Zero set, but I am busy promoting the event itself.
    However, tonight, I have sent instructions to GWF Officials that will
    determine the first ever GWF North American Champion. Tonight, live on
    Monday Night Massacre, there will be a 10 Man Total Elimination Match.
    10 men will start in the ring, and a wrestler will be eliminated when
    he is pinned or submits. The last man in the ring will be the GWF North
    American Champion. Thank you for your time. Now, back to Jim Ross and

Future Shock defeated Los Luchadores Del Locos when Wilson pinned Guerrero
after the Future Echo in 0:06:04.

Damian and Father Trinity learned that turnabout is fair play in this one,
as Trinity's constant interference backfired when the ref admonished him,
allowing Sabian to whack Damian across the skull with his Kendo Stick, 
then pick up an easy three count. Maybe Damian will learn next time. Then
again, maybe not.

Canadian Rage defeated Tables Inc. when Reed pinned Jansen after 
the Sidewinder in 0:09:46.

Former NCAA Champion and 2000 Olympic Gold Medallist Neil Johnson showed 
the world his prowess as a pro wrestler here, and in doing so became the
first ever GWF North American Champion. Johnson paced himself nicely, 
and pinned Troy Phillips with a perfect bridging back suplex. However,
Phillips himself deserves a mention for his efforts, as the strongman
eliminated 5 people, using his high-impact Rydeen Bomb to great effect.
But the spoils and the glory go to Johnson, at least for now.

Adam Collins pinned Steven Crowe with the Original Sin in 0:07:18.

Paul Maloney made Simon Mercury submit to the Crossface Submission in 0:08:25.

So, the dust has settled and the round robins are over. It has now been set
for Battleground Zero, where it will be "The Sinner" Adam Collins against 
"The Shooter" Paul Maloney in a 2 out of 3 falls match for the GWF World
Heavyweight Title. It should be an excellent contest, and everyone is 
talking about it. The hugely-popular, anti-establishment rebel Collins versus
the cold-hearted crippling machine Maloney. The whole future of the GWF will
be shaped by the outcome of this match, and the only place to see it will be
at Battleground Zero, live from the Florida Ice Palace on March 18th 2001.
