"Captain America" Shane Stevens

Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 239lbs
Hometown: Washington, D.C.
Finisher: Star Spangled Drop (Torture Rack Drop)
GWF Titles Held:
When he arrived in WCW in early 2000, Shane Stevens was largely ignored by
both fans and management. He was charismatic enough, and his talent was
good, but there was something missing. An aborted feud with Billy Kidman
didn't help, and when Vince Russo took over, Stevens found himself looking
for a job. In stepped Paul Heyman, with an idea that would get Stevens over.
"Captain America" was born, and Stevens never looked back, procuring the
ECW TV Title in the process, a title he held when ECW hit trouble and Heyman
gave him permission to join the GWF, who snapped him up. Now Stevens has a
chance to build himself a reputation, the question is will he take it?
Stevens in-ring moves are very much based at pleasing the crowd. It's like
watching an 80's face in the ring. He does use the Star Spangled Drop as a
finisher, but other moves in his arsenal include the crossface chickenwing,
a head and arm suplex, a reverse neckbreaker, a rolling reverse cradle and
a super gutbuster.
Stevens also teams infrequently with Neil Johnson as The Patriots. The team
is super-popular, and they use the highly-effective Stacked Up Superplex to
win matches.
